Si tratta degli Atti dei contributi della conferenza internazionale, svolta nei giorni dal 13 al 15 Ottobre 2017, nel castello di Brandýs (Brandeis) sulľ Elba, ľex dimora dell‘arciduca Luigi Salvatore in Boemia (1872 – 1915).

Il capitolo introduttivo presenta una sinossi dello stato attuale della conoscenza della figura delľ arciduca Luigi Salvatore, quella delle oprere e delle sue attività. I contributi pubblicati dai ricercatori stranieri (Austria, Italia, Germania, Spagna e Libia) e cechi presentano le nuove scoperte su Luigi Salvatore raggiunte nel campo della ricerca internazionale (cfr. contenuto di sotto). Include anche una bibliografia tematica, un elenco delle opere delľ arciduca con i riferimenti alla loro conservazione nelle biblioteche ed i riassunti in lingua straniera.

La raccolta degli studi è multilingue. Gli articoli sono stati pubblicati nelle lingue dei partecipanti e vengono forniti con gli abstract in inglese. Finora non sono stati pubblicati gli atti dei convegni dedicati nel passato alľ arciduca, ad eccezione della graduale pubblicazione degli studi del convegno di Muggia (2007) sui singoli numeri della rivista regionale Fameia Muiesana, e dei contributi stampati negli atti di una conferenza in occasione del 100° anniversario della morte di Luigi Salvatore, svoltasi nel 2015 a Vienna presso ľ Accademia delle scienze austriaca.

Per ľ orientamento per gli studi degli atti del covegno di Brandeis nel 2017 sono stati presentati i titoli dei singoli articoli in inglese.
